2007 Royal Invitational

The Generals had their final tune-up meet competing at the Royal Invitational hosted by EMU.  In all the Generals Six first place finishes and saw 22 Top-five performances to highlight the day.

Freshmen Billy Billington led the wasy for the men as he won the Shot Put with a PR throw of 13.92m and finished 3rd in the Discus with a toss of 38.31m.  Junior Michael Keenan had a huge day in the Javelin with a 17-foot PR.  He won the event with a toss of 46.99m.  Freshmen Ben Goetsch won the High Jump clearing 1.85m.

For the women, Liz Brandler won the Pole Vault clearing 2.90m.  Mary Frances Weatherly placed placed 3rd clearing 2.60m.  Elizabeth Webb won the 800m running a PR time of 2:20.77 setting a new meet and facility record!   Kat Telfeyan ran her first 1500m race of the season running 5:10.28.  She was the first collegiate finisher to cross the line.
