Week of April 18
Mary Christopher
Mary started off a strong week with a PR race at Duke in the 1500m running 4:57.85, She came back at Elon and won the 800m leading wire to wire in 2:28.73.


Brian Krupczak

Brian is on his way back!  After straining his hamstring at the indoor ODAC meet, he has worked his way back.  In just is 2nd race outdoors at Elon he knocked 4 tenths off his previous time in the 100m.

Week of March 27

Casey Sharpe --
Casey started the day off with a PR in the 400 hurdles...she then stepped in to bring home the SMR  just missing another PR split.

Men's DMR--
Andrew Johnson, Norman Senior, Steve Chambers and Nathan Johnson joined forces to win a competitive DMR race and set a new school record in the process.

Week of March 20

Alex Mahoney --
Alex had a strong finish to placed 5th in the 1,500m running an outdoor season best by 9 seconds!

Sara Behmerwohld--
In her first race of the year Sara won the 400 hurdles breaking her own school record.  She also placed 3rd in the 100 hurdles, and was a part of both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

Week of March 13

Emily Barker --
Emily opened up her season placing 2nd and 3rd in the Javelin and Shot Put at the W&L Invitational.

Nathan Johnson--
Nathan was named the meets "Outstanding Performer" by winning both the 1,500m and the 800m at the W&L Invitational.

Week Of Feb 21

Lil Brandler --
Lil broke her own Pole Vault record by jumping 10-10 for the 5th time this season, she also qualified for NCAA Championships, and set a new Field House Record. 

Steve Chambers--
Steve had a strong day of racing.  He started off with his first 1500m of the season.  Running 4:13.02 to finish 6th overall.  The then came back to run the 800m.

Week Of Feb. 7

Steve Chambers--
Steve opened up his indoor season in strong fashion running away from the pack to win the 3,000m (always an enjoyable race in the PIT).  This was a PR race for Steve!! 

Blair Haws--

In just her second ever college track meet Blair doubled up in the Mile and the 800m  She was the first D3 finisher in both races with what has quickly become a characteristic strong finishing kick!


Week Of Jan. 31

Nathan Johnson --
Nathan anchored the Distance Medlay Relay team to a school record time of 10:50.76  He split a 4:22 mile bringing it home.  The next morning he also broke a 12 year old school record in the 3,000m with a time of 8:37.24


Lil Brandler --
Lil broke her own Pole Vault record by jumping 10-6, she also had a good attempt at 11-0!!  She then Set a new Triple Jump Record (34-0.5).  This record has been standing for 12 years.


Week Of Dec. 5

Liz Brandler, Freshmen
In her first college meet Liz, vaulted to a new school record (9'10.75") and a 3rd place among division 3 athletes.  She later finished 2nd among D3 athletes and 3rd overall in the Triple Jump with a leap of 33'10.5"

James Montgomery, Junior
James opened up his season in big fashion.  Walking on to the team as a sophomore he never participated in track before, and he has come a long way!  In his first meet this year he set new personal records in both the 55m and the 200m and had a strong performance running his first ever 400 in the 4x400 relay!
