2005: Did not race due to a tibial stress fracture. Voted a co-captain for the 2006 season.
2004: Brower started his college running career with a bang by winning his first race, the Washington and Lee Invitational, earning him Washington and Lee and ODAC Athlete of the Week Honors. After finishing 14th at the NYU Invitational in hurricane-like conditions and garnering South/Southeast Region Freshman of the Week honors, he was struck with an injury. He was sidelined until the week of the Regional Meet, where he placed 31st earning All-Region accolades.
Prep: Ran cross-country for three years at Christian Brothers Academy- Syracuse. A two-year captain for the Brothers, Brower received three varsity letters and was a three-time All-League selection. Brower was the 2003 Senior Race Champion at the Footlocker Northeast Region Cross-Country Championship.

Outdoor 2006: Did not compete due to a metatarsal stress fracture.
Indoor 2006: Did not compete due to injury.
Outdoor 2005: Still hampered by injuries, Brower competed in three races for the Generals with his best showing being his collegiate 5000m debut at Duke University.
Indoor 2005: Did not compete due to injury.
Prep: Earned a combined seven letters in track at CBA-Syracuse. The two-year indoor and outdoor captain garnered a total of ten All-League awards for the Brothers. Brower was a qualifier for the 2004 New York State Indoor Track Championships at 1000 meters and the 2004 National Scholastic Indoor Championships at 5000 meters. A competitor at the 2003 Empire State Games, he was the top Central Region qualifier at 5000 meters.

Other: Brower was a national-caliber competitor in speech and debate while at CBA-Syracuse.
