Princeton Invitational

 

The Generals traveled up to Princeton University for a final tune up before the ODAC Championship meet. 

Men's Recap:

Freshmen Alex Jackson, Drew Martin and Sophomore Alex Mahoney led the way for the men all with first place finishes among D3 runners.  Alex Jackson won the 1,000m (finishing 2nd overall) running 2:43.39.  Drew Martin won the Pole Vault clearing 14'3" and Alex Mahoney was 1st D3 in the Mile running 4:31.97.
Ryan Edge was 2nd D3 in the High Jump at 6'0" and Marshall French was 3rd D3 in the 400m finishing in 52.26.  Vance Berry (2:00.07) and Steve Rivoir (2:00.40) crossed the line 3rd and 4th D3 in the 800m.

Women's Recap:

Mary Christopher and Becca Taylor finished 1st and 2nd among D3 runners in the Mile.  Both ran times bettering the school record.  Christopher ran 5:26.23 and Taylor finished in 5:27.94.  Elizabeth Webb was the 1st D3 runner in the 500m in 1:24.93. Liz Brandler was the top D3 vaulter clearing 10-0. Stacy Doornbos was also the 1st D3 (second overall) sprinter in the 400m crossing the line breaking her own school record in 59.64.  Caroline Davis also finished 3rd D3 in the 400m running 62.84.
