The newly renovated Wilson Field Track Complex was completed on October 1, 2004.  The final meet held at the old facility was the 2004 ODAC Track & Field Championships.  The renovations upgraded the original facility which was completed in 1989.  The new top of the line polyurethane all-weather facility includes:
-Two Long Jump / Triple Jump Runways                     
-Two Pole Vault Runways
-A New Modified High Jump Apron

-Shot Put, Discus, Hammer and Javelin Throwing Facilities

With the recent upgrades and a stadium seating capacity for 7,000 spectators Washington and Lee University boasts one of the finest Track & Field facilities in the east!  The Wilson Field Track Complex is home to the annual Washington and Lee University Track & Field Invitational, held each spring, on the second Saturday in March.
